Software Developer – Integration & Automation
Location: Cambridgeshire (2 days per week on site)
Salary: £42,749 - £48,654
Contract Type: 2 years fixed term contract
Are you a problem-solving developer with a passion for automation, integration, and efficiency? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment, where your work directly impacts front-line services and operations? If so, we want to hear from you!
You’ll work on a variety of projects that streamline operations and improve collaboration between front-line teams, support functions, and external partners. You’ll play a key role in developing and integrating solutions that make a real impact.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable solutions using C#, SQL, SSIS, and IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE)
- Work with IBM Business Process Management (BPM) and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps & Power Automate) to drive efficiency
- Design, develop, and integrate APIs and Web Services to enhance system connectivity
- Solve complex technical challenges in collaboration with the Development Team and key stakeholders
- Ensure best practices in software development, including security, documentation, and agile methodologies
- Work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to understand requirements and deliver practical, high-impact solutions
- Expertise in C#, SQL, and database technologies
- Experience working in a software development or integration environment
- Familiarity with web & cloud technologies
- Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps & Automate) for workflow automation
- A problem-solving mindset—you enjoy tackling technical challenges and finding innovative solutions
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage non-technical stakeholders
- An agile mindset, with experience working in or alongside agile teams
