Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing and implementing quality and innovative technical solutions for DXC customers
• Utilise appropriate tools and methodologies to analyse, identify and resolve technical problems
• Close engagement with other key Lines of Service associated with the program delivery
• Provide accurate and thorough estimates pertaining to all relevant work requests
• Regular contribution to Service Improvement (SIP) program, suggesting and implementing technical innovations and general functional, technical and process driven improvements
• Handle customer support issues as quickly and efficiently within contractual SLAs with appropriate solutions
• Involvement with the complete application development and support lifecycle from requirements stage through to Production Support
• Keep abreast of new technologies and methodologies, and how they may be leveraged for the benefit of the customer and wider DXC

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

• Must be eligible for SC clearance. Criteria includes being a British Citizen with no dual citizenships/OCI Cards and has been resident in the UK for past 5 consecutive years
• At least 3 years’ experience working in a technical software delivery team.
• Good level of knowledge and essential experience in programming languages and technologies as follows:
• Good understanding of Oracle databases would be beneficial
• Good working knowledge of Agile methodologies and SCRUM
• Proactive and highly organised, with strong time management and planning skills.
• Strong communication skills, both customer-facing and internal.
• Able to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
