Job description

With offices in the UK, USA, and South Africa, we are a growing Travel Management Company specialising in the charity, academic, and not-for-profit sectors, and we are proud and passionate about what we do.

We are currently looking for a Software Developer to join our expanding IT and Development team. We prioritise IT development to ensure that our technological solutions promote the industry in efficiency, security, and user experience. Our ideal candidate will be a highly skilled Azure Cloud Full Stack Developer with experience in software development. Primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Develop robust and scalable data integrations within the Azure Cloud platform
  2. Design and implement tools to subscribe and publish to/from Azure Service Bus messaging entities, APIs, and SQL databases
  3. Deploy well-tested code that meets acceptance criteria within an Agile DevOps environment
  4. Adhere to SOLID coding practices and apply development through unit and integration testing
  5. Perform integration of applications both on-premises, private, and public cloud infrastructures
  6. Implement observability and monitoring into solutions to ensure real-time visibility of system performance
  7. Collaborate effectively with the Data Engineers, Business and Solution Analysts to design and implement reusable code

Minimum qualifications include:

  1. Experienced software developer with a focus on C# and .NET
  2. Proficiency in SQL, Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Postman
  3. A strong grasp of Agile DevOps practices
  4. Capable of creating and maintaining detailed technical documentation
  5. Experience integrating applications both on-premises and cloud-based
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  7. Experience with Azure Functions and developing Restful APIs
  8. Certification in Azure or related cloud technologies would be beneficial

  1. Salary to £40k (pending experience)
