Mid-level C# .NET Developer | Chesterfield | 3 days office

Major IT & Digital are proud to be partnering with a leading international business with over 30 years industry experience delivering industrial IT solutions across both manufacturing and infrastructure businesses.

Successfully achieved Investors in People award for the last 12 years and continue to invest in self-development for all internal teams. My client operates the software development arm of the business from a Chesterfield location.

Due to the nature of the work involved, you will be required to attend the Chesterfield office 3 days per week and 2 days working from home.

THE ROLE

As part of continued expansion within the software development team, my client has immediate requirements for a mid-level software developer to support the development of new features, new applications, and API integrations.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established development team with at least 4 years commercial experience in developing .NET applications and features.

You will address customer issues and maintain good client relationships including fixing bugs, adhering to QA procedures, and completing assigned tasks on time using Azure DevOps tools.

THE PERSON

To be effective in this role, you will possess skills and experience in the following areas:

1. .NET Framework such as C#, WinForms, ASP.NET Webforms, MVC
2. Microsoft SQL Server and Windows Server 2012, 2016 or 2019
3. Visual Studio 2019/2022
4. JavaScript / jQuery
5. API Integration of 3rd party tools
6. Working knowledge of Windows 7/8/10/11
7. Self-disciplined, proactive, and determined problem-solver

2. Entity Framework or other ORM technology
3. Blazor and .NET CORE
4. DevExpress / DevExtreme components
5. Mobile development (Xamarin)
