Our client, an innovative and proactive company based in Aberdeen, is looking for a driven and talented Software Developer to join their expanding Business Solutions Team.

Overview:

This role will primarily focus on enhancing existing web MVC applications and building a user-friendly, cross-platform mobile application using .NET MAUI. You will work closely with the team to integrate solutions with existing systems, ensuring efficiency across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, deploy, and improve software solutions that support business needs.
2. Lead the development of mobile applications using .NET MAUI for iOS and Android.
3. Work on web .NET Core MVC applications and APIs.
4. Collaborate with internal teams and third-party providers to scope, implement, test, and deploy solutions.
5. Deliver training and reference materials for new software systems.
6. Provide ongoing support post go-live and contribute to continuous improvement.
7. Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the team.

Experience and Qualifications:

1. A degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or relevant commercial experience.
2. 5+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET, Azure, and mobile programming languages.
3. Strong experience in .NET MAUI, C# .NET Core, Entity Framework Core, JavaScript (including jQuery).
4. Proficient in Azure technologies, API, REST, Async, and GitHub.
5. Strong SQL skills, including transactional queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
