What you will do:
- Make transparent, evidence-based threshold recommendations on incoming contacts.
- Ensure information is collected, recommendations are made, and actions are taken within agreed timescales according to the level of risk identified.
- Undertake further enquiries, including MASH checks, on cases where the threshold is not clearly met and recommend the appropriate level of service to offer children and families within specified timeframes.
- Ensure confidentiality in information sharing within MASH and restrict access to MASH professionals only.
- Consider issues of consent appropriately in all aspects of work.
- Record work concisely and accurately on the Early Help Module IT system within agreed timeframes.
- Take referrals and provide advice to the public and professionals making contact with the CSCT.
- Keep referrers and contributing agencies informed of progress and referral outcomes.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of local services and effectively signpost the public and professionals to appropriate services.
- Work positively with professionals from partner agencies, promoting collaborative working, mutual respect, and professional behaviour.
- Engage in relevant training and other practice development activity to maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills.
- Assist with and promote the development of CSCT in response to changes, needs, or practice requirements.
- Actively participate in supervision sessions and team meetings.
- Achieve personal appraisal targets and share relevant information gained from training in team meetings.
- Undertake all other duties commensurate to the grade of the post.
- This post requires hybrid working, approximately two days a week in the office.
