  1. Job Title: Forensic Social Worker (Permanent)
  2. Location: Crawley
  3. Duration: Permanent
  4. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM or condensed days 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM across 4 days
  5. Start Date: ASAP
  6. Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)

A Day in the Life of a Social Worker: Join our team as a Social Worker and make a real difference in the lives of male patients within a low/medium secure forensic hospital. Your core responsibilities include:

  1. Conducting comprehensive social assessments and risk evaluations.
  2. Developing and implementing tailored care and treatment plans.
  3. Delivering evidence-based interventions and supporting rehabilitation.
  4. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, psychologists, and nurses.
  5. Maintaining accurate and detailed clinical records in line with compliance standards.
  6. Staying up to date with the latest best practices in forensic mental health care.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  1. Current and valid registration with Social Work England.
  2. Forensic experience is ideal but not essential.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  5. Commitment to delivering high-quality mental health & social care.
