What you will do:

1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being.
2. Develop, implement, and review care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals.
3. Provide therapeutic interventions and support to children and families, helping them to achieve positive outcomes.
4. Offer guidance and support to children, families, and carers, integrating them into community resources and services.
5. Liaise and work in partnership with local agencies, schools, and healthcare professionals to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.

Requirements:

We are looking for someone with a recognised qualification in social work along with a post-qualification diploma. Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is essential, and you must have a minimum of two years of post-qualification experience working with children, families, and carers.
