Grade I - £40783 to £44217 (Community Care Worker)

We have various full and part-time permanent Social Worker Community Care Worker and Advanced Practitioner posts across our Social Work Adult Services teams. These posts offer an exciting opportunity for newly qualified or experienced Social Workers.

Minimum Requirements

Experience of working in a community social care or health setting and knowledge of Community Care Legislation are essential. Experience of delivering a duty system, excellent risk management skills and good interpersonal skills are desirable, as is a strong commitment to multi-agency working.

You must be a Social Worker with a DipSW, CSS, or CQSW and registration with SSSC is essential.

If you wish to be considered for an Advanced Practitioner position you will be required to evidence experience of chairing meetings and a proven track record of supporting team practice development, such as mentoring, facilitating student placements, groups or communities of practice and a commitment to your own continuous professional learning and development.

The post is based within various locations across Falkirk and you may be required to work from other Falkirk Council premises.

You must have the ability to travel as per service demand.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.

This post is permanent full-time, 37 hours per week but applications from those who wish to work part-time will also be considered.
