What you will do:

1. Provide high-quality assessment and care management to children and families requiring ongoing intervention.
2. Review interventions within statutory timescales and ensure plans are achieving identified outcomes.
3. Demonstrate professional competence in social work practice and contribute to service development initiatives.
4. Ensure effective multidisciplinary working with partner agencies to provide holistic care.
5. Represent the service at Court and Panel meetings, advocating for the best outcomes for children.
6. Manage and be accountable for your own social work practice, with supervision and support.
7. Work with the Fostering Team to assist in reaching recruitment targets and improving foster carer retention in line with the Fostering Recruitment and Retention Strategy.
