What you will do:

  1. Hold child protection cases and collaborate effectively with a variety of professionals and vulnerable families.
  2. Chair multi-agency core group meetings with confidence and professionalism.
  3. Complete and present detailed reports within the child protection arena, utilising the Signs of Safety approach.
  4. Undertake Section 47 enquiries and conduct thorough child protection investigations and reports.
  5. Prepare court reports with precision and present evidence in court settings.
  6. Manage duty work efficiently as required.
  7. Make use of the Signs of Safety and MOSAIC system, enhancing the quality of your work.
  8. Use your own transport to travel across Cornwall to meet the demands of the role.

The successful candidate will bring experience in child protection, court work, and working with children in care. The role is initially for 12 weeks with the possibility of an extension.
