Location: Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire (Office & Field Visits)
Contract: 31st March 2025 – 23rd May 2025
Hours: 37 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay: £29-£35.69

What You’ll Do:

1. Carry out initial and core assessments under the Assessment Framework.
2. Develop care plans and support packages for children in care or on protection plans.
3. Manage care cases, input data into Care First, and ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures.
4. Build relationships with children, families, and professionals, keeping the child’s needs at the centre.
5. Support team development by attending meetings and contributing to projects.

What We’re Looking For:

1. Skills: Strong time management, clear record-keeping, and communication skills.
2. Qualities: Compassionate, independent, and able to handle complex situations with professionalism.
3. Experience: Qualified social worker with experience in children’s assessments (2+ years post-qualification preferred).
4. Bonus Points: Willingness to take on a practice assessor/facilitator role for social work students after 2 years.
