Join our team as a Social Worker - Advanced Practitioner within the Mental Health Team based in Walsall, UK, for an exciting locum opportunity. You will earn a competitive hourly wage of £38, working full-time from 14/04/2025 to 11/07/2025. What you will do:

1. Supervise and line manage staff, ensuring adherence to professional standards and protocols.
2. Oversee absence management and quality approve reports for accuracy and compliance.
3. Mentor team members while ensuring legal compliance, enhancing the effectiveness and capability of the team.
4. Chair meetings and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) for holistic care management.
5. Conduct care assessments under the Care Act, undertake s9 assessments, s27 reviews, and support s117 aftercare.
6. Engage in alternative duties in line with the Mental Capacity Act 2005, Mental Health Act 1983/07, the Equality Act 2010, and other relevant legislation.
