Cygnet Hospital Beckton is rated 'Good' by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) with inspectors praising staff for their 'safe, person-centred care'. The hospital is a gender specific hospital for women with complex mental health needs.

Your Day-to-Day...

1. You'll be working 22.5 hours a week
2. Work in partnership with service users, their families and other stakeholders to assist with the recovery process
3. Forge links and maintain contact with other statutory agencies
4. Lead on the social care needs of service users
5. Ensure that service users and their families/carers are aware of their legal rights
6. Take an active role in safeguarding within the multidisciplinary team
7. Provide written reports to the multidisciplinary team and other professionals

1. A Registered Social Worker with Social Worker England
2. A relevant Social Work qualification
3. Experienced in working within a mental health setting, or passionate about working in this field
4. Knowledgeable of safeguarding, health & safety, data protection, confidentiality issues & equality & diversity
5. An excellent communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills
6. Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
7. Skilled in report writing with excellent literacy skills and attention to detail
