Salary: £ 40,614 - £51,903 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the AMHP team with inspiration, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Manage team performance through supervision, training, and development opportunities.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring timely and efficient mental health service delivery.
- Develop strategies for optimal service delivery, resource management, and achieving performance targets.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies, including the Mental Health Act.
- Implement quality assurance mechanisms to enhance service provision continually.
- Provide expert guidance in complex case management, including risk assessment and crisis intervention.
- Conduct regular supervision sessions to ensure adherence to professional standards.
- Establish effective partnerships with key stakeholders, including health and social care providers.
- Collaborate with external partners to enhance pathways for individuals accessing mental health services.
- Drive service improvement initiatives and innovative approaches to mental health care.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in service provision.
- Monitor performance indicators and prepare reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with data analysts to inform decision-making processes and service planning.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) with significant post-qualification experience in a mental health setting.
- Registered with a relevant professional body (e.g., HCPC).
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role, including team leadership and performance management.
- Thorough understanding of mental health legislation, policies, and procedures, including the Mental Health Act and associated Codes of Practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to promoting evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams and across organisational boundaries.
