Contract: Full-time, MPS/UPS pay structure

Are you a passionate Social Sciences Teacher looking for a full-time position from January 2025? If so, please contact me immediately. The post has an immediate start, and continues as a 1 year maternity cover, with the possibility for extension. As a Social Sciences Teacher, you'll be responsible for teaching the Social Sciences, including Psychology and Sociology.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to KS4 and KS5
2. Take on full responsibilities including planning and marking in both subjects.
3. Collaborate with a small and supportive department to foster a stimulating learning environment & drive interest in Social Sciences
4. Ensure a safe, conducive environment where students can thrive personally and academically

Minimum Requirements:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
2. A genuine passion for education & the Social Sciences
3. Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Passion for education and a commitment to student success
