Key Responsibilities:
Teach Sociology and Psychology at A Level.
Deliver BTEC Health & Social Care and T Level courses, supporting students on their vocational journeys.
Plan and prepare engaging and inspiring lessons that foster a deep understanding and love for Social Science subjects.
Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
Contribute to the development of the Social Science curriculum and participate in the wider life of the school.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS), or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
Have strong subject knowledge in Social Science and vocational subjects.
Be able to motivate and inspire students, making complex ideas in Sociology, Psychology, and related subjects accessible and exciting.
Be a collaborative team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
Demonstrate a commitment to promoting equality, safeguarding, and inclusion in the classroom.
