About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Science Teacher to join our dynamic and forward-thinking school in Bedfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students across Psychology, Sociology, and Criminology at Key Stages 4 and 5. The successful candidate will have a strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in Social Sciences (Psychology, Sociology, Criminology)

• Plan and assess student progress to ensure academic success

• Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential

• Contribute to curriculum development within the department

• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events

Person Specification:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

• A degree in Social Sciences or a related subject

• Experience teaching Social Sciences at Key Stage 4 and 5 (preferred)

• Strong classroom management skills and a passion for teaching

• Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds
