Job Summary
Based at Shottendane Nursing Home, the Social Media & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for managing the social media accounts of multiple companies within Discovery Care Group. The role includes content creation, running social media campaigns, tracking analytics, and supporting general marketing efforts. Additionally, the role will involve some reception duties and other administrative tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Create, schedule, and manage content across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).
  • Utilize different software and tools to design graphics, edit videos, and produce engaging content.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote events, services, and key messages.
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance using analytics tools to optimize strategies.
  • Engage with online audiences, respond to inquiries, and foster community interactions.
  • Support digital marketing efforts, including email campaigns and website content updates.
  • Perform reception duties, including greeting visitors, handling phone inquiries, and administrative support.
  • Stay updated with social media trends and emerging digital marketing tools.
  • Assist in any other marketing, branding, or communications projects as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in social media management, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with social media analytics and reporting.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple brands/accounts simultaneously.
  • Basic knowledge of digital advertising and SEO is a plus.
  • Reception or administrative experience is beneficial.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
