Social Media Manager – Food & Drink

My client, a premier European-style food & drink brand with over 1000 locations across Europe, is looking for a Social Media Manager for urgent maternity cover until May 2025.
The role will lead their social media strategy, build on their social presence, and manage key seasonal campaigns – acting as a cultural ‘ambassador’ who helps to promote the company and its values.
The ideal candidate will come from a brand, where they had full responsibility and ownership of social media management with proven successful metrics/KPIs. A combination of creativity and an analytical mindset is also important.
Responsibilities:
- Working alongside the wider marketing team, own and manage a social media content calendar
- Project-manage ideas and campaigns from start to finish
- Work with internal and external creatives on content production
- Manage tone, write copy and manage the online conversation in a positive way
- Manage the social media budget and ad spend
- Manage and develop brand’s Blog, its publishing schedule and asset development
- Adapt a proactive approach to campaign planning, propose new and innovative ideas
- Work with the wider marketing team to fully optimise purpose, reach and engagement
- Stay in tune with the latest social media trends
Requirements:
- Proven experience in successfully managing brand’s social media accounts, including paid ads, channel optimisation, content creation and copywriting
- Technically fluent in all social media platforms
- Understanding of premium branding
- Project management skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Food & beverage industry experience is a bonus
