We are looking for a Social Content Creative who can make fintech content cool - or at least genuinely entertaining and genuinely educational. Finance is traditionally a complex subject, but we’re on a mission to make saving and investing easy and effortless - and we want the social media presence to prove it.

If you would describe yourself as an ‘ideas person’, are equally comfortable planning long-term strategy than you are creating ad-hoc content, and are up for the challenge of explaining complex financial concepts through bite-sized social posts, then you might be the perfect fit.

Sitting in the in-house Brand team, you will work closely with other creatives and content makers, as well as getting exposure to a fast-paced marketing team deploying your work across our social channels. You’ll also get to know a wide mix of people across the business.

The days will be fast-paced and varied with a mix of filming out and about on location or in our office.

This role will play a huge part in an exciting creative team at the UK’s fastest-growing fintechs, helping us shape our brand and create the best content in fintech.

What you can expect to be doing:

  • Take ownership of Chip’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, Community Forum and private Facebook groups).
  • Pitch, develop and test innovative social content ideas.
  • Produce a variety of creative assets - from static posts and tweets, to videos and written copy.
  • Analyse the performance of social channels to understand what’s working and what isn’t, and adjust the content strategy accordingly.
  • Work with team members from other departments, to ensure our content fits within the broader Marketing strategy.
  • Engage the Chip community.

What we’re looking for:

  • Someone who can turn around content from ideation to production faster than you can say "have you seen Duolingo's TikTok account".
  • Confident user of all key social media platforms (LinkedIn through TikTok).
  • Knows how to gather and analyse data from these platforms to determine what works and what doesn’t.
  • Up for the challenge of making engaging reels designed to get reach - and go viral!
  • Not afraid to interview people around the office and on the street!
  • Not afraid to push creative boundaries and get stuck in to team brainstorms.
  • You are quick to respond to the latest trends.
  • You are able to explain complex concepts in simple and digestible terms.
  • A self-starter who is happy to independently take a piece of content from ideation to production.
  • Comfortable with all types of content - from written copy to video.
  • Can brief a designer to create visual content.
  • Can create content in line with Compliance guidelines.
  • Able to work from our London office 3-5 days per week.

Desirable experience & skills:

  • Video editing experience (CapCut included).
  • Interest in the fintech space.
