The Role
As Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy to drive brand awareness for Bob W. You’ll create engaging content and execute strategies that promote our existing and new opening properties across Europe. You’ll manage our social media platforms to drive growth, brand recognition, retention and connection with our audiences.
We're seeking a strategic professional to build engaged communities and drive loyalty through innovative social media content and campaigns. Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, you’ll work closely with the marketing and e-commerce teams, with additional exposure to Senior Leadership. If you're a Social Media Manager who thinks social-first, is driven by insights, excels in visual story-telling and takes a hands-on approach, this could be your role.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement a robust social media strategy focused on amplifying the Bob W brand, driving awareness, reach and engagement with our community.
- Social Media Content Creation: Own the content calendar across all channels and create platform-specific content strategies. Create engaging, dynamic content anchored in story-telling, coordinate photo/video shoots and manage visual asset libraries.
- Social Media Management: Lead Bob W's social media presence to create a thriving community of brand advocates while driving measurable business impact through creative, resource-efficient programs across all channels. This includes scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and managing community interactions across all Bob W social channels. Ensure a consistent brand voice across channels and implement crisis management and reputation monitoring.
- Community Management: Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, messages, and mentions, and engage with followers to foster a strong online community.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns, tracking social media metrics and community growth. Optimise campaigns based on data insights and behaviour patterns and create comprehensive performance reports that track ROI.
- Influencer/Partnership Outreach: Design and execute UGC campaigns. Identify and establish partnerships with brand ambassadors, influencers and/or affiliates to amplify brand awareness.
- Brand Monitoring: Track trends within the industry, monitor key competitors and benchmark brands. Monitor conversations and hashtags relevant to the brand, competitors, and industry, as well as social media trends and best practices.
- Analytics & Reporting: Implement and action social media analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Later, Social Listening) to measure the success of posts, campaigns, and overall growth. Provide weekly/monthly performance reports to the Growth team.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with wider marketing and internal teams to ensure alignment with commercial objectives and brand messaging.
A 5-star candidate has:
- 5+ years of experience in social media management with a proven track record of growing engaged communities and driving measurable business results.
- Strong content creation, copywriting, and visual storytelling skills, with experience in multimedia content production.
- Expertise in social media management tools (Google Analytics, Later, Social Listening) and content creation software (Adobe CS, Canva, etc.).
- Experience managing UGC campaigns, brand ambassadors, and community response teams to enhance engagement.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, optimize performance, and inform strategy.
- Project management excellence, ensuring effective execution of campaigns and brand initiatives.
- Ability to handle crisis management and stakeholder communication, maintaining brand reputation.
- Strategic mindset with creative problem-solving and data-driven decision-making abilities.
- Experience in partnership development and cross-functional collaboration with marketing, PR, and design teams.
Nice to have:
- Experience working with consumer-facing brands, ideally within the hospitality, lifestyle and travel industries, is highly desirable.
