Job Description

We are looking for a creative and results-driven Social Media Specialist to join our team for a full-time remote position. Our company’s head office is in the UK.

As a Social Media Specialist, you will play a key role in boosting our brand’s online presence and engagement across various social media channels. You’ll be responsible for creating compelling content and driving audience growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across different platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance, providing actionable insights to improve engagement and reach.
  • Collaborate with the design and content teams to ensure a cohesive brand presence across all channels.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments, and manage social media communities to foster relationships.
  • Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns to boost visibility and conversions.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation and Curation:

  • Develop and execute engaging content (images, videos, posts) tailored for each social media platform.
  • Write compelling captions and use effective hashtags to maximize reach and engagement.

Social Media Strategy:

  • Plan and implement a social media strategy aligned with company goals, ensuring consistency across all channels.
  • Monitor trends, competitor activities, and platform updates to optimize content and strategy.

Community Management:

  • Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly.
  • Foster and grow an online community by interacting with users and encouraging conversations around the brand.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Track key performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions) and create detailed reports to assess campaign success.
  • Use insights from data to adjust and improve future social media strategies.

Ad Campaign Management:

  • Develop, execute, and optimize paid social media campaigns across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Manage budgets and monitor ROI to ensure effective ad spending.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with marketing, design, and sales teams to align social media efforts with broader company campaigns and goals.
  • Collaborate with influencers or brand ambassadors to extend brand reach.

Crisis Management:

  • Monitor for potential issues or negative feedback and respond appropriately to protect the brand's reputation.
  • Develop a plan for addressing crises and handling unexpected situations on social platforms.

Content Scheduling and Optimization:

  • Use social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) to plan and automate posts for peak engagement times.
  • Regularly review and optimize posting schedules to maximize audience reach.

Stay Updated on Industry Trends:

  • Keep up with new developments in social media platforms, tools, and best practices to stay ahead of industry changes.
  • Experiment with new features or platforms to identify new opportunities for the brand.

Influencer and Partnership Outreach:

  • Identify and reach out to influencers and partners for collaborations to boost brand visibility.
  • Manage relationships with influencers, ensuring campaigns are aligned with brand values and objectives.

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in working in a collaborative team environment.
  • A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work is required.
