Social Media Executive

We have an exciting opportunity for a social executive to join the Public Desire marketing team. We’re looking for a passionate and ambitious individual who loves all things social media and has previous experience in a creative content or social media role.

This is the perfect role for someone starting in the fashion industry and you will be a key part in developing Public Desire’s social media strategy and you will be part of a highly motivated marketing team.

Responsibilities:

1. Work alongside our in-house photographer to create strong social content for Instagram and TikTok.
2. Schedule all content across Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and Facebook.
3. Develop an engaging social media strategy alongside the marketing team.
4. Be reactive to social media trends, celebrity news, and relevant newsworthy topics and be able to apply these to our social media strategy.
5. Create engaging video content and stay on top of the latest trends.
6. Monitor and analyze social content, social growth, and engagement and produce weekly reports to present to the marketing team.
7. Conduct competitor analysis.
8. Suggest new ideas to stay relevant with the latest social trends.
9. Copywriting for social media captions.
10. Ensure social growth targets are achieved through acquisition strategies.
11. Work as part of the marketing team to develop new social initiatives to drive follower growth including brand outreach and influencer competitions.

What we’re looking for:

1. Someone with a minimum of two years experience in a similar role, ideally within the fast fashion industry or creating their own social media content.
2. Creative and innovative thinker who will come up with fresh ideas to maximize our social media platforms.
3. Organized and problem solver.
4. Ability to work at a fast pace and someone who works well under pressure.
5. A team player with a commercial mindset that’s keen to drive our social media strategy to the next level.

Full-time: Mon - Fri, flexi time is available.
