Social Media Executive
Job description
This is an exciting creative role within an independent business, which will involve creating and editing content for our social media platforms.
It’s a hybrid role – mainly remote, with travel to our workshops in South London to assist with content creation roughly 1-2 days per month.
Responsibilities
- Creating a mixture of short and long form video content for Instagram reels, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and our website.
- Editing together videos to create engaging and cohesive stories for our target customer – considering and experimenting with visual and audio hooks.
- Staying on top of social media trends and generating ideas on how best to translate these trends in line with the brand and the target customer.
- Analysing content performance and presenting findings to the team regularly.
- Ensuring high standards are met across all social media platforms.
- Ad-hoc support with further marketing projects (such as social media/Google ads, email marketing, website editing, blog writing, etc.).
Skills and Experience Required
Essential:
- Experience creating and editing videos for social media.
- Proactive and highly organised.
- Eager to learn and take feedback.
- Excellent communicator.
- Knowledge of social media marketing and trends.
Bonus:
- Experience creating video content for businesses.
- Experience with Adobe editing software.
- Experience working within a small business.
