We are looking for a Social Media Content Creator to join the team at BY TERRY! Someone who’s experienced with content creation and lives on their FYP – to take our short-form video channels like TikTok and Instagram Reels to the next level. Together with the Social Media & Content Manager, you’ll shape our strategies for these channels.

As a Social Media Content Creator focused on TikTok, you will be responsible for developing and executing creative content strategies to grow our presence on these platforms. You will create engaging and shareable content that showcases our products, tells our brand story, and connects with our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Develop and produce high-quality, engaging, and on-brand video content for TikTok and Instagram.
• Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, particularly on TikTok, to inform content strategy and creation.
• Community Engagement: Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and interactions in a timely and authentic manner.
• Analytics & Reporting: Work together with the Social Media Manager to monitor and analyze content performance using social media analytics tools, and adjust strategies based on insights to optimize engagement and growth.
• Creative Brainstorming: Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative content ideas that align with our brand voice and marketing goals.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Social Media Content Creator, particularly on TikTok.
• You’re skilled with video editing software and familiar with in-app creator tools across platforms.
• Strong creative skills, with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
• You have experience creating short-form video content that’s driven results – growing reach and views, engagement and followers, and getting your brand regularly talked about.
• Excellent understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and best practices.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable being in front of the camera (participating in videos and TikTok lives).
• Passion for beauty and a deep understanding of our target audience.

Preferred:

• Experience creating content in the beauty sector is a bonus.
• Knowledge of other social media platforms (e.g., YouTube shorts and Pinterest) is a plus.
