Social Media & Community Manager (Outside IR35)

The main purpose of the Social Media & Community Manager role is to create, curate, and manage engaging digital content for our agency and clients. With experience in an agency setting, the Social Media & Community Manager plays a critical role in developing and executing content strategies across various digital platforms. By leveraging their creativity, technical skills, and storytelling abilities, they aim to captivate audiences, enhance brand visibility, and drive measurable results.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director, Account Managers, and cross-functional teams to understand clients’ content needs and objectives.
  • Work closely with a team of creatives, including copywriters, designers, and videographers, providing guidance and feedback on content development.
  • Manage content production schedules and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery and quality execution.
  • Oversee content distribution and engagement, monitoring performance and making data-driven optimisations.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, influencers, and partners for content collaborations and amplification.
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Strategist to align content strategies with social media campaigns and initiatives.
  • Liaise with clients, presenting content strategies and updates, and addressing their feedback and requirements.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in digital content creation.
  • Assist in the development of content guidelines, brand voice, and style across multiple projects to ensure consistency across platforms.

Skills, Qualifications & Competence Level

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or other related field.
  • Certification (or equivalent) in digital marketing, content strategy, or other related areas.

Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Digital Content Producer, preferably within an agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms (social media platforms, ad placements, affiliates, YouTube videos), content formats, and best practices.
  • Intermediate Adobe Suite Expertise – InDesign, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful digital content strategies across multiple platforms.
  • Experience in creating and curating engaging and visually appealing content, including written, visual, and multimedia formats.
  • Experience in coordinating content production, including collaborating with designers, videographers, and other content creators.
  • Experience working with clients from diverse industries, understanding their unique challenges and tailoring strategies to meet their needs.
  • Advanced proficiency in design software, video editing tools, or other relevant content creation tools.
  • Experience and avid interest in Web3, Decentralisation and Brand Tokenisation.

  • Creative thinking and the ability to translate ideas into compelling digital content.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a strong command of grammar and style.
  • Strong storytelling abilities and the skill to adapt content to various brand voices and target audiences.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills in project scoping, resource and requirement planning through to project delivery and assessment.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of copyright and intellectual property regulations.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), design software and social media platforms.
