The role

With over 8 million members, VoucherCodes is the UK’s largest and most trusted discount code website. Partnered with big brands like ASOS, Nike, Argos, Expedia and Pizza Express, we receive over 8 million visits per month. Right now, we’re looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our marketing team.

As our Social Media Assistant, you will help support the Senior Social Media & Influencer Manager in executing the Social Media strategy across all our Social Media accounts for VoucherCodes. This is an ideal role for someone at the start of their career who is passionate about Social Media and has some experience using Social Media, either as an avid user themselves or some professional experience on brand/agency side.

What you’ll be doing…

1. Be responsible for supporting the Senior Social Media & Influencer Manager in delivering the Social Media strategy for VoucherCodes.
2. Be comfortable capturing and starring in video content for TikTok and our other social channels.
3. Own the day-to-day drafting and publishing of Social Media content, including creating assets using Figma and writing copy for posts.
4. Social community management - nurturing our social community by starting and seeking out relevant online conversations and working with our user experience team to handle any queries.
5. Assist the Senior Social Media & Influencer Manager in creating and managing content calendars for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
6. Social listening, monitoring social trends, and proactively engaging with relevant topics.
7. Collaborate with our sales team to book content across our social channels.
8. Assisting the Senior Social Media & Influencer Manager with influencer campaigns.
9. Working closely with our Digital Content Manager on blog ideas.
10. Attend London-based content shoots.
11. Assisting with regular reporting to a range of internal stakeholders.
12. Ad hoc duties as required.

What we need from you…

4. Excellent writing skills, attention to detail and the ability to work both quickly and efficiently.
5. Excellent organisational and administrative skills.

7. Ability to complete repetitive tasks to a high standard.
8. Innovative and keen to bring new ideas to the table.
9. A true team player with a ‘can do’, flexible approach to your work and willingness to collaborate.
10. Consistent drive to work to a high standard and to go above and beyond.
11. A creative individual with a love of design and branding.
12. UK based.
13. At least 3 A Levels (grade C+) or experience commensurate to A Levels.

It would be great if you have…

3. Experience in an ecommerce environment.
