ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of social media and a passion for innovation to drive successful social campaigns and community engagement while mentoring a team and acting as a key social specialist within the agency.

You will be joining the social and content marketing arm of the VCCP Partnership. The team are specialists in making social-first content that is grounded in native social behaviour. They live and breathe social media and have an in-depth knowledge of all existing and emerging social platforms and formats.

The team do everything from creative content ideas and production through to live reportage, community management guidelines, moderation and influencer marketing.

We’re looking for someone who is a senior social native; with a thorough 360 understanding of all things social, influence and effective social campaign management.

As you’ll be leading the social and influence piece, you will work directly alongside our creator team and Social ECD’s, keeping your finger on the pulse of social creativity and staying in the know for influencer and creator trends as well.

We’re really looking for someone who lives and breathes social, can be a solid mentor to more junior social professionals but most importantly, continues to elevate our offering both internally to our business and externally to clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Champion social-native content.
• Oversee and develop innovative social creative ideas.
• Ensure consistency across all social creative and integration with other channels.
• Optimize existing social creative for native feel.
• Craft and mentor on social copy best practices.
• Stay current on influencer and creator trends.
• Ability to present those articulations convincingly to clients.

Strategic Social Guidance (25%):

• Collaborate on social messaging and campaign approaches.
• Extend social campaigns into the digital ecosystem.
• Assist with content strategies and ensure cross-platform consistency.
• Work on social TOV, policies, and governance.
• Develop influencer briefs.

Community Engagement Oversight (10%):

• Oversee social channel setup for start-ups.
• Develop community activation and engagement strategies.
• Create social-first playbooks.
• Shape VCCP's community engagement proposition.
• Act as deputy to Head of Social and Social ECD.
• Manage key social platform relationships.
• Oversee social/influencer monitoring and management tools.
• Propose innovative solutions for ROI and KPIs.
• Mentor social team members and be an active and visible team member.
• Serve as go-to platform specialist and problem-solver.
• Contribute thought leadership internally and externally.
