From security design engineers creating solutions for global threats to technical installers guarding the UK’s most sensitive assets in real time, this team provides the full spectrum of protection for the UK around the world. Responsibilities:

• Put a stop to cyber incidents that threaten the national interest.
• As SOC Lead Engineer, you’ll play a vital part in delivering and maintaining cyber security defensive and monitoring technologies.
• Lead our SOC Engineering team, ensuring key tech is configured and kept operating at peak potential.
• Proactively maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT-based threats and vulnerabilities.
• Identify, investigate and analyse all manner of threats, incidents, anomalies and unexpected activities within the IT systems.
• Work closely with colleagues across analytical, IT and security teams.
• Write technical incident reports to keep us – and our customers – strong for the future.

Qualifications:

• Formal Cyber Security qualification.
• BTEC, NVQ level or equivalent in IT, Cyber Security or related subject.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced IT skills and experience in IT Security.
