EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
As the SOAF Compliance and Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive review of the current SOAF process to identify areas that require improvement. This involves analysing existing procedures, identifying inefficiencies, and determining opportunities for enhancement. You will work closely with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners, to gather valuable input and feedback on proposed enhancements. This collaborative approach ensures that all perspectives are considered and that the proposed changes are well-informed and effective.
You will also be tasked with developing a detailed project plan that outlines the specific steps required to improve the SOAF process in line with the expected AMP8 new guidance. This plan will include timelines, milestones, and resource allocation to ensure that the project is executed smoothly and efficiently. Allocating resources and assigning responsibilities to team members will be a critical part of your role, as it ensures that everyone involved understands their tasks and can contribute effectively to the project's success.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will maintain and implement a robust data collection system designed to capture all relevant data accurately. This system will be essential for maintaining the integrity and reliability of the data collected. You will establish clear procedures for data reporting, including setting timelines and defining responsibilities to ensure that data is reported consistently and on time. Monitoring data collection and reporting processes will be crucial for promptly identifying and addressing any issues that arise, ensuring that the system operates smoothly and efficiently.
Finally, you will regularly review and update data collection and reporting procedures to ensure continuous improvement. This ongoing evaluation will help to identify any new challenges or opportunities for further enhancement, allowing the SOAF process to evolve and improve over time. Your role will be vital in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of spill data reporting within the organisation, contributing to its overall success and effectiveness.
The role holder will be expected to carry out this role with little to no support, be very self-motivated and driven and have a natural curiosity and desire to make things better.
