Special Need TA/Support Staff – Start date: September 2024

Prospero Teaching’s dedicated SEN (Special Educational Needs) team in our Cambridge office is currently hiring experienced and newly qualified SEN TA's for the current school year. Our team covers SEN Specific Schools, Pupil Referral Units, and SEN Departments within mainstream schools. Our staff is dedicated to finding patient, resilient, and passionate TA’s who enjoy and are qualified to work with students with Special Needs.

TA’s will be expected to work with Educational Health Care Plans that outline the needs and accommodations for all students in the UK. SEN roles are in high demand in the UK right now, and Canadian experience and qualifications are recognized and valued across schools.

Our Team is currently holding interviews for both full-time and supply roles and are open to Zoom Interviews.

To apply you must:

1. Have a diploma or equivalent qualification
2. Be eligible to work in the UK by obtaining a Youth Mobility Visa, UK Ancestry Visa, or British Passport
3. Have an up-to-date Canadian Police Check or be willing to complete one
4. Be able to provide 2 teaching references
5. Have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with young people
