SME Account Executive
Salary up to £35,000 DOE
Harrogate
Onsite Parking!

My client is an expanding company who pride themselves on their personal approach and are currently seeking an enthusiastic Account Executive to join their amazing team.

Responsibilities:

· Maintaining relationships with multiple insurance companies/MGAs to negotiate and obtain quotes, binders, endorsements, etc.
· Cross selling products to potential customers. Managing 30 - 40 renewals per month.
· Confirming renewals with customers ensuring details are still the same and insurance is still relevant for the customer's needs.
· Negotiating renewals for existing customers.
· Obtaining information and documentation from new and existing clients.
· Chasing aged debt from your dedicated book of accounts and ensuring credit agreements are signed by the client in good time.
· Independently manages accounts on a day-to-day basis which includes coordinating all services, answering all questions, and resolving problems, which may arise; maintains timeliness and completeness when interacting with clients, agency and company personnel.
· Other ad-hoc duties that the employer determines fall within the job-holders' capabilities

Experience/Skills

· Recent Commercial Account Executive experience across multiple lines/classes of Insurance is highly desirable but would also consider other Commercial Insurance professionals.
· Demonstrated success in overall customer service and proven sales track record.
· Acturis experience is desirable
· GCSEs A-C in English and Mathematics
· Professional qualifications (Cert CII/Dip/ACII) preferred
· Intermediate to advanced-level proficiency with Microsoft Office
· Ability to work with internal and external clients at all levels High level of organisational ability
· High degree of self-discipline and motivation
· Problem-solving skills and proven analytical skills
· Must possess the ability to work independently, applying education and professional
experience to achieve outstanding results
· Team player with a strong work ethic
· Effective, professional verbal and written communication skills
· Demonstrates considerable tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment with ability to build and maintain effective interpersonal relationships
· High level of maturity and stability with an "optimistic" approach
