I am working with a client near Woolwich who is seeking a SMART Repair Technician. Based on site.
Smart Repair Technician
Woolwich, London
Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
Basic salary £32,500 (depending on experience) OTE £45,000 per annum.
Seeking a Smart Repair Technician from an automotive Body Shop or Smart environment, via an independent or franchised garage, who can:
- Prepare damaged panels and mask up vehicles in readiness for painting.
- Carry out minor repairs to body panels and alloy wheels.
- Polish vehicles following painting.
- Repair and refurbish damage to vehicles, including scratches, scuffs, dents, windscreen chips, upholstery repair, leather reconditioning and recolouring, and wheel refurbishments.
- Clean and prepare vehicles for repairs.
- Perform cosmetic paint touch ups and local paintwork repairs.
- Maintain equipment regularly and report any problems to the Bodyshop Manager.
Previous experience as a Smart Repairer Technician / Painter / Paint Sprayer / Bodyshop Technician within any type of bodyshop is required.
Body shop or equivalent experience is essential; qualifications will be an advantage.
Full driving licence is required.
You should be able to work to tight timescales and thrive under the pressure of a busy bodyshop department.
