I am working with a client near Woolwich who is seeking a SMART Repair Technician. Based on site.

Job Role

Smart Repair Technician

Job Location

Woolwich, London

SALARY AND HOURS

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
Basic salary £32,500 (depending on experience) OTE £45,000 per annum.

Job Responsibilities

Seeking a Smart Repair Technician from an automotive Body Shop or Smart environment, via an independent or franchised garage, who can:

  1. Prepare damaged panels and mask up vehicles in readiness for painting.
  2. Carry out minor repairs to body panels and alloy wheels.
  3. Polish vehicles following painting.
  4. Repair and refurbish damage to vehicles, including scratches, scuffs, dents, windscreen chips, upholstery repair, leather reconditioning and recolouring, and wheel refurbishments.
  5. Clean and prepare vehicles for repairs.
  6. Perform cosmetic paint touch ups and local paintwork repairs.
  7. Maintain equipment regularly and report any problems to the Bodyshop Manager.
About You

Previous experience as a Smart Repairer Technician / Painter / Paint Sprayer / Bodyshop Technician within any type of bodyshop is required.

Body shop or equivalent experience is essential; qualifications will be an advantage.

Full driving licence is required.

You should be able to work to tight timescales and thrive under the pressure of a busy bodyshop department.
