Our ethos has always been clear: to do the best for the animals in our care within the means of our clients and to look after our team with respect and kindness. We take pride in doing our job well – of doing the best we can for the patient and we're here to look after our clients, to try and work with them and to think about how they are feeling too.

The vet team enjoy a 4 day week with a 1 in 3 Saturday (when the Saturday is worked this is counted as one of the four days that week), with an average 36 hours per week. Our rota is designed to give one 4 day weekend and one 3 day weekend per 6 weeks. Part time applications will also be considered for the right candidate. We have tea breaks built into the diary with 30 minutes in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon to enable a tea break and time to report lab results in addition to the lunch break! Routine appointments are 15 minutes with euthanasia's being double.

Our standard benefits include:

  • Salary up to £67,000 (pro rata) depending on experience
  • 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (or equivalent) with our Buy/Sell holiday scheme - allowing you to purchase an additional two weeks of annual leave
  • RCVS, VDS and subscription fees paid
  • Generously encouraged and fully funded CPD – abundant opportunities within the business aided by internal and external development courses and programmes
