Are you looking for a practice to call your home?
Our RCVS accredited general practice and veterinary nurse training centre based in Elgin are looking for a Small Animal Vet to join our team.
Our practice (there are 16 of us here!) has such a great vibe; here is what matters to us as a team: we are honest, we are fair, and we are loyal and fun. If these things matter to you too, we would love to hear from you!
We offer a salary ranging up to £60,000 per annum plus bonus. For Vets relocating to the area, we can support you with a relocation allowance. We can support certificates and further studies.
Where are we: Elgin lies on the south coast of the Moray Firth in Scotland, roughly midway between Inverness and Aberdeen. Known as the ‘whiskey region', there are many local distilleries, a cathedral (once classed as Scotland's most beautiful cathedral) close to sandy beaches and relatively nearby to some major cities (36 miles to Inverness and 57 miles north west to Aberdeen). In Elgin, you are well connected with regular trains and driving with an hour to the beautiful Cairngorms, a few minutes from the coast. Great variety of primary and secondary schools. Full of history with beautiful buildings, housing market cost ranges from £65k to £300k from one bed flats to stunning Victorian style houses.
Hours: This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week over 4 days with 1 night on call and 1 weekend per month. We can discuss part-time and flexible ways of working to suit your needs.
In return, some of our benefits include:
