Skilled Welder Fabricator

A new job opportunity for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join a growing team at a leading global manufacturing company, that specialises in high-precision machinery. As part of the production team, you will play a crucial role in fabricating and assembling high-quality components used in advanced industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

1. Perform MIG/TIG welding on various metal components, ensuring high-quality standards.
2. Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
3. Conduct inspections to ensure welded structures meet their specifications.
4. Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
5. Work collaboratively with the production team to meet specific project deadlines.
6. Maintain a clean and organised work environment while following health and safety guidelines.

Experience Required

1. Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
2. Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques.
3. Ability to read and work from technical drawings and specifications.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
5. Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.
6. Relevant welding qualifications or certifications are preferred.

Benefits / Hours

1. Hourly rate: £17.20 (£35,776 per Annum) + full benefit package + overtime available.
2. Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am - 4.30pm & Friday 7am - 11am (40 hours).
