Job description

Site Supervisor (Waste Water)


The Role


This role will be working for one of the largest privately owned construction firms in the UK and they are looking for a Civils Supervisor working within the Waste Network on projects throughout London. As a Supervisor, you will oversee up to three teams working on minor sewer improvement projects throughout London.


Here are some of the activities that you will be involved in:

  1. Leading, motivating and developing your team
  2. Meeting contractual obligations in terms of safety, compliance, timelines and budgets
  3. Coordinating and organising services before teams start work
  4. Identifying traffic management needs
  5. Communicating with property owners regarding access plans
  6. Conducting site inspections to ensure teams are adhering to required HSEQ standards
  7. Completing risk assessments, writing up incident reports, and facilitating team briefings or toolbox talks.

About you


You should have great communication skills, common sense, and be comfortable with technology. A full, clean driving licence and a valid NRSWA qualification are required. We would like to hear from candidates within the utilities sector, ideally with qualifications such as SHEA Water and experience of confined spaces.
