Job Advertisement: Black Hat Supervisor (Temporary Ongoing Contract)

We are currently seeking an experienced Black Hat Supervisor to join our team on a temporary ongoing contract for a project in York. The ideal candidate will have strong supervisory experience and relevant qualifications to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of the project.

Key Requirements:

• SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification
• CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card relevant to experience
• SC Medical certification
• Proven experience working as a supervisor on construction projects in heavy civils concrete and bridge works
• You will be working directly under the project manager at the site, ensuring that the day-to-day activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
• This is a temporary ongoing contract, with the possibility of extending for 2 years or more for the right candidate, based on performance and the project's length.

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and supervising site activities
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Supporting the project manager in the delivery of the project
• Managing and coordinating teams on-site
• Reporting on site progress and issues
