Rate: £250 - £350 per day (depending on experience)
About the Role: We are recruiting on behalf of our Tier 1 client for an experienced Freelance Site Supervisor to oversee civil projects in the water sector. This role is perfect for a professional with a solid background in water or utilities projects, who can ensure the smooth and efficient running of the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily site operations for civil projects in the water sector.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare progress reports.
- Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on site.
- Ensure all site personnel adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a site supervisor on water or utilities projects.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and site management practices.
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) or SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
- Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage a team effectively.
Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (SSSTS or SMSTS, CSCS card) are mandatory.
- A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is a plus.
