Rate: £250 - £350 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role: We are recruiting on behalf of our Tier 1 client for an experienced Freelance Site Supervisor to oversee civil projects in the water sector. This role is perfect for a professional with a solid background in water or utilities projects, who can ensure the smooth and efficient running of the site.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate daily site operations for civil projects in the water sector.
2. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
3. Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
4. Conduct regular site inspections and prepare progress reports.
5. Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on site.
6. Ensure all site personnel adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a site supervisor on water or utilities projects.
2. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and site management practices.
3. SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) or SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
4. Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
5. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
6. The ability to work independently and manage a team effectively.

Qualifications:

1. Relevant certifications (SSSTS or SMSTS, CSCS card) are mandatory.
2. A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is a plus.
