Site Supervisor - Independent Connection Provider (ICP) - London

Overview:
A skilled Site Supervisor is required to join a leading Independent Connection Provider (ICP) in London, overseeing Distribution Network Operator (DNO) projects. Extensive experience in substations is essential, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise on-site activities for DNO projects, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
2. Oversee the construction, installation, and commissioning of substations, ensuring all work meets technical specifications.
3. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
4. Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and method statements to maintain a safe working environment.
5. Manage site teams, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality workmanship and project efficiency.

Key Requirements:

1. Extensive experience working on substations within an ICP or utility environment.
2. Strong knowledge of electrical infrastructure, including HV and LV installations.
3. Proven ability to manage site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
4. Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., SSSTS/SMSTS, ECS/CSCS, or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations).
5. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.
