Are you an experienced Site Supervisor looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established secondary school in North Lincolnshire, seeking a dedicated and reliable Site Supervisor to start as soon as possible.
About the Role
As the Site Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the school premises are safe, secure, and well-maintained. You will oversee the day-to-day management of the site, including maintenance, security, and cleaning, to provide a conducive learning environment for staff and students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the site is maintained to the highest standard, including general repairs and upkeep
- Oversee security measures to keep the school secure at all times
- Manage external contractors for larger maintenance or improvement projects
- Conduct regular health and safety checks and risk assessments
- Supervise and support the cleaning staff
- Take responsibility for opening and closing the school, including keyholder duties
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and reliability to meet the demands of the role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
