Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

We are looking for a Junior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join a growing team in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering to grow their skills while working with modern cloud-native technologies. You'll collaborate with experienced engineers to improve system reliability, automate processes, and enhance deployment pipelines.

• Assist in designing, maintaining, and optimizing scalable infrastructure and cloud-based services.
• Support the development and operation of CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment efficiency.
• Help monitor and troubleshoot production systems, ensuring uptime and performance.
• Work with Kubernetes and containerized applications in cloud environments.
• Automate tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Support database and messaging system maintenance (e.g., Elasticsearch, Postgres, Redis, RabbitMQ).
• Learn and contribute to incident response, root cause analysis, and system improvements.

• 2+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes and containerisation.
• Some experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or similar).
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
• Some scripting or automation skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Passion for automation, reliability, and continuous learning.
