Are you detail-oriented with a passion for quality assurance and inspection? We are looking for an experienced Site Quality Control / Supervisor to join our team and ensure the highest standards on site. This role will be instrumental in maintaining quality standards, adhering to inspection protocols, and liaising effectively with site management to support successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative and Office Duties: Maintain organized records and oversee officerelated tasks associated with quality control.
- Inspection and Audit Reporting: Conduct and document thorough daily, weekly, and monthly internal and external inspections and audits.
- Record Keeping: Manage all record-keeping, including NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and snag lists.
- QA and Coordination Meetings: Actively participate in site QA and coordination meetings, contributing insights to enhance project quality.
- Weld Mapping and Reporting: Perform and report on weld mapping where required.
- Weld Procedure Specifications: Manage and oversee the approval of weld procedure specifications, ensuring adherence to NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) standards.
- Bolt Register and Tightening Mapping: Maintain the bolt register and oversee bolt tightening mapping.
- Paint Inspections and Environmental Checks: Perform inspections for paint quality, measuring heat, humidity, dewpoint, and dry film thickness to ensure specification compliance, and prepare detailed reports.
- Liaising with Site Management: Work closely with site management to ensure all inspection programs are current and implemented effectively.
- Inspection and Test Plan Management: Control and sign off on inspection and test plans, ensuring adherence to project quality standards.
- Final Inspections: Attend final inspection points to validate project completion to specified standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in site quality control, inspection, and reporting.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail for record keeping and audit reporting.
- Proficiency in weld mapping, paint inspection, and quality assessment.
- Familiarity with non-destructive testing (NDT) management.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with site management and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage and interpret inspection and test plans.
Pay Rates - Hourly
Normal Time £20.20ph
Time and Half £30.30ph
Double Time £40.40ph
