Hours: 43 hours per week

Location: Leeds, LS10 1AX

We are seeking a Site Manager to be responsible for the management of all day-to-day maintenance activities at one of our customer locations in Leeds.

The scope of your activities will comprise managing the maintenance of industrial boilers, refrigeration equipment, air handling systems, compressed air systems, and all the auxiliary and ancillary plants used to support the continued successful delivery of our services to the customer.

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Ensure compliance with HSE and Quality systems while conducting maintenance activities and environmental incident reporting
  2. Perform root cause analysis, fault investigation, and develop engineering solutions while maintaining essential spare parts inventory
  3. Develop maintenance procedures, risk assessments, and accurately record activities using CMMS system
  4. Diagnose and repair faults on electrical/mechanical equipment including pumps, motors, and compressors while conducting planned preventative and reactive maintenance
  5. Supervise maintenance contractors, monitor performance against SLAs, and serve as primary customer contact
  6. Identify and implement site improvements and efficiency projects while taking ownership of problems and solutions

What we’re looking for:

  1. HNC/HND qualified or other certification by a recognised body
  2. Strong health and safety knowledge - Preferably NEBOSH qualified
  3. Detailed knowledge of plant and maintenance systems and their functionality, especially computer-based
  4. Extensive experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance within industrial environments such as waste-to-energy, power stations, or petrochemical facilities, with strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and pressure systems
  5. Proven leadership abilities to manage maintenance technicians and supervise contractors, with excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a practical approach to engineering challenges
  7. Proficient in IT systems including CMMS, email, and general computer applications
