Job description

On behalf of our client, ITS Building People (Southampton) are searching for an experienced No. 1 Site Manager to join one of the largest UK house builders on a development in Chichester.


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Implement actions to mitigate risks & maximise opportunities.
  2. Manage preliminaries.
  3. Maintain accurate site record, daily diaries & weekly progress reports.
  4. Review design drawings for build-ability and co-ordination. Raise RFI where appropriate.
  5. Manage the flow of sub-contractors design information as delegated by the Project Manager.
  6. Assist the Project Manager to produce and monitor the MIRS.
  7. Manage site labour and maintain accurate records.
  8. Monitor & understand programme, discuss and agree recovery programmes with the Project Manager.

Essential Qualifications/Experience Required:

  1. NHBC experience.
  2. Strong technical understanding.
  3. Commercial awareness.
  4. Innovative thinker and problem solver.
  5. SMSTS, First Aid & CSCS.
  6. Management level NVQ or equivalent.
