EXPERIENCED HAZARDOUS WASTE TRANSFER STATION MANAGER / SITE MANAGER, OR AMBITIOUS SENIOR SITE CHEMIST OR TECHNICAL ASSESSOR REQUIRED TO MANAGE A BUSY HAZARDOUS WASTE SITE

TITLE: Site Manager – Hazardous Waste Transfer Station Operations

LOCATION: Cheshire

YOU MAY HAVE WORKED IN HAZARDOUS WASTE AS AN: Operations Manager, Senior Site Chemist, Senior Technical Assessor, Technical Manager, Transfer Station Manager, Site Manager, Treatment Plant Manager

ROLE: Site Manager – Hazardous Waste Transfer Station Operations

1. Management and development of a small team of Chemists
2. Ensuring site runs in accordance with Safety and Environmental compliance policy
3. Financial management
4. Overseeing efficient throughput of Hazardous Waste in and out of the site

EXPERIENCE: Site Manager – Hazardous Waste Transfer Station Operations

You will have previously worked in one of these functions or similar within the hazardous waste sector: Operations Manager, Senior Site Chemist, Senior Technical Assessor, Technical Manager, Transfer Station Manager, Site Manager, Treatment Plant Manager.

(Working on a manufacturing site where you handle some hazardous waste as by-products of the production process will not be considered to be sector experience)

You will have a Degree in Chemistry or a related subject.

You will ideally have a WAMITAB / COTC.

NEBOSH or IOSH Training a plus.
