Are you an experienced Site Manager with a background in groundworks and earthworks? Looking to join a forward-thinking contractor with a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for delivering high-quality civil engineering projects?

We're working on behalf of a leading groundworks and civil engineering contractor who are seeking a Site Manager to take the lead on a site in Ironbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team, where your skills in managing heavy civils and bulk earthworks will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee day-to-day operations on site, ensuring safe, timely, and efficient delivery of groundworks and earthworks packages.
2. Coordinate subcontractors, plant, and labour to meet programme targets.
3. Monitor site HSEQ compliance and lead site inductions and toolbox talks.
4. Liaise with project management, clients, and engineers to maintain strong communication lines.
5. Ensure accurate setting out and quality control are maintained.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience managing groundworks and bulk earthworks projects.
2. Strong knowledge of civil engineering practices and site processes.
3. SMSTS and First Aid certified.
4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
5. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
