Job description

Kenton Black are recruiting a Site Manager (Civils), on a permanent basis in the central belt of Scotland. The client is an established civil engineering contractor with deep roots across Scotland.

In your new role as Site Manager, you will oversee the daily operation on civil engineering projects. Projects will be assigned based on your home location and may include Edinburgh or Glasgow projects. Currently, the client has works secured until 2030 and includes building substructures, residential projects, bridge repairs & road formations.

Roles/Responsibilities:

  1. Managing up to 50 site workers at one time.
  2. Hosting site inductions & toolbox talks.
  3. Contributing to progress meetings.
  4. Ensuring site adherence to health & safety legislation.
  5. Hitting programme deadlines.

Minimum Requirements:

As a minimum, you must have 5 years experience managing civils projects and have SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid qualifications. All work history must be backed by positive employer references.
