Liverpool, L1 – Refurbishment & Roofing Works

Salary: £240.00 - £260.00 / day DOE

An excellent opportunity for a freelance No 1 Site Manager has arisen with our Refurbishment / Roofing Client who deliver outstanding refurbishment schemes with values of projects from £500k – £2.5million.

Our client is currently looking for a freelance No 1 Site Manager to work on the refurbishment and re-roofing of a telephone exchange building in the Liverpool, L1 area that will run for around 8 weeks starting on the 13th January 2025.

The Company is building a strong reputation for delivering high quality and well-designed schemes that achieve high praise from the end users.

Responsibilities:

1. Liaise with the client and drive the subcontractors.
2. Manage contractors on site as the No.1.
3. Handle general day-to-day issues, quality, and programme.
4. Be a self-motivated individual that is autonomous in your role.
5. Manage all aspects of the project and report to a visiting Contracts Manager.

Skills / Requirements:

1. Previous refurbishment, construction and/or roofing experience.
2. CSCS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, SMSTS, Manual Handling, Working at Height & Fire Marshall certificates.
3. Experience of site managing refurbishment schemes with values up to £2.5million.
4. Unfortunately, if you do not have refurbishment or roofing experience as No.1 Site Manager, we will not be able to put you forward for the role due to the client’s requirements.

Salary and Benefits:

On offer is a day rate of up to £260 dependent upon experience for the successful candidate.
